Beat the Odds®



The Story

Since 2014, we have had the privilege of working with CDF-Texas on their annual Beat the Odds® program. This fundraising program celebrates five outstanding students whom have all experienced significant childhood hardships. Despite all odds they have persevered and risen to the top of their class. Prior to being awarded their scholarships, the students' stories are presented through a powerful mini-documentary.

To date, we have brought to life 25 memorable student documentaries over the years in addition to CDF-Texas' 15th anniversary film. 




The CDF-Texas 15th Anniversary Video was honored with a Gold Award for the 2014 MarCom Awards.  

Additionally, the 2015 & 2017 Beat the Odds® collection of videos were both honored with a Platinum Award for the 2015 MarCom Awards & the 2018 Hermes Creative Awards.

Both the Hermes Creative Awards and the MarCom Awards are international creative competitions that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals.  Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. The awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals.  Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
